It's up to 10.9.1 now with an urgent patch fix. I would hold off upgrading a few days, lots of issues being triaged, go to 10.9.1 if already at 10.9.0.

"This minor release brings several bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience. In particular it fixes a few glaring bugs that had mass impact with 10.9.0. We recommend everyone on 10.9.0 upgrade to 10.9.1 now."

I beta tested that, too, on my backup server that we use in one room with a limited library. It must have been something that changed since the last time I did the 10.9.0 nightly. It's been a over weeks
since I updated it.

Really surprised the release is breaking in so many ways.

10.9.1 release is out.

Upgrade now from 10.9.0 to fix losing your collections if you are on Windows because 10.9.0 absolute path checking removed the collections. I had to scan collections after the 10.9.1 upgrade. It took a while. Others say they came back after 10.9.1 on their own

Keep your 10.8.* backup until you are sure your collections have recovered

10.9.* also breaks LiveTV scheduling for some

Windows11 has decided FOR me that it's time I get a new printer by not recognising my admittedly not up to date printer. I don't think they should decide that, nor waste my time by me hunting for a driver on the increasingly unreliable web. Assuming Windows 11 even "allows" me to install such a thing.

It runs fine, this old printer off an equally ancient eee. One flash drive to transfer the file and we're done.

Just be careful which printer you buy. Some newer models require you to get so much ink or else they deactivate. I think HP does this. I know they lock you into their ink only.

It was priced right, reliable, uses generic ink just as good as the OEM ink.

I had to manually add an older printer to windows 11. You might try that if you haven't. Did you ever get it to work? This is the closest thing to a soap opera cliffhanger I get. lol

When Fastmail first opened they offered a pay once, lifetime account. We had two.

One day they announced they were not going to honor that and they'd close our accounts if we didn't subscribe. I would argue that they could have at least offered to forward an existing email address to somewhere else. They offered nothing.

I remember when they argued the members fee was for setting up the account and not a lifetime subscription to the service.

Their admin admitted it was "bait" imo in 2013 a few years before they ended it once and for all in 2017.
