If propagates at 𝘤, what is the source of the gravitational field beyond a black hole's radius?

    spaceflight,

@GenghisKen do you mean the hashtags ? https://techhub.social/@spaceflight/109691001325778500. Regarding the post : that was nearby the only one about astrophysics, as in this case I'm the dilettante 😜. You might find more of this stuff at https://astrodon.social

Press conference: SLIM has been communicating with Earth and is recieving commands accurately. The spacecraft is responding in a normal way. However, the solar cell is not generating electricity at this point in time. Currently using battery power.

    spaceflight,

@skrishna JAXA director general Dr. Hitoshi Kuninaka gave it a “60 out of 100” 📊 https://edition.cnn.com/2024/01/19/world/japan-moon-sniper-landing-mission-scn/index.html

#SLIM might not have considered "flamy 🔥 side down ⬇️" https://youtu.be/muK6gFtv7_o?si=E01yEgzgoda5VZds&t=215

No news from #JAXA yet https://global.jaxa.jp/press/2024/

    spaceflight,

    @horst123h isn't that mentioned on youtube ?

    spaceflight,

@SkipHuffman currently, they don't give any update at all, so it's hard to tell https://global.jaxa.jp/press/2024/

    spaceflight,

🇯🇵 #JAXA shut down the #lander nearly three hours after it touched down. #SLIM appears to have landed at the wrong angle, #solar ☀️ cells are facing west 🧭. If #sunlight begins to shine on the #lunar surface from the west, there is a possibility of generating power 🔋 https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/japan-moon-lander-jaxa-space-slim-b2482786.html

    spaceflight,

@mike_edwards so how "the precious baby rovers" were doing ? 🤔❓

    spaceflight,

@mike_edwards given the three hours after shutdown of their rover and the time it took afterwards for an update, when do you expect any news after a ? AFAIK the rovers were thought to land (eject) first, so their data should already be available 🙄

    spaceflight,

@mike_edwards "The team is receiving a signal from LEV-1 and will see whether its cameras were able to capture any images. officials said they will not definitively confirm the status of LEV-2 until more data is received" - next month ? 🤔 https://edition.cnn.com/2024/01/19/world/japan-moon-sniper-landing-mission-scn/index.html

📆 Nov 15, 2023 is seeking to scale up production of the rocket to reach a cadence of two launches 🚀🚀 a month by the end of 📆 2025. That seems rather ambitious and might be asking a lot of suppliers, including engine manufacturer . https://arstechnica.com/space/2023/11/ula-chief-on-the-vulcan-rocket-the-path-to-flight-one-is-clear/

A global system of management was defined by the International Academy of in its 📆 2006 study as a "set of technical and regulatory provisions for promoting safe access into outer space, operations in , and return from outer space to free from physical or radiofrequency interference."

There remains a spectrum of views internationally regarding the feasibility and advisability of an actual international management organization () https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_briefs/RBA1949-1.html

@Powerfromspace1 could you express this a bit more precise ? The FCC doesn't do any "commerce", they simply don't know what they're doing (to the rest of the world). They are purely administrators (which includes they don't have to achieve anything)

🇬🇧 #UK's government 🏢 has thus far been completely #inept at finding any way to meaningfully support the #spaceport’s development. That has not stopped officials from taking a victory 💪 lap of their own. It is #ludicrous that a country that espouses a desire to prioritize #space has so completely #failed to support the development of one of its most promising space-related #infrastructure projects. https://europeanspaceflight.com/progress-made-at-saxavord-but-questions-remain/
