As a reminder, my step-brother drove my step-dad's convertible 335i into a deep puddle and killed it. RIP.

My step-dad picked up a boring lease for the meantime, but he said that in the next few months he'll be ready to shop for a replacement convertible.

He owned the Bimmer for well over a decade and loved it. Pretty sure he essentially wants a newer version of what he had -- 3 (or 4) series with the straight-six.

Don't yet what his budget is, but does anyone know what years to look out for?
