They installed new machines for Nexus card holders at YVR and people are unsure how to use them, causing lineup and delays 🥴

It's still faster to go through airport security this way than not having Nexus card though.

“Making fire”

Real practice or only folkloric demonstration for the easily impressed tourists, the realization of a fire by rubbing two pieces of wood is mastered by the Massaï.

This settlement in the desert is the jumping-off point for a trek to a legendary trading city, 52 days if all goes well. Do not venture into this region without a good supply of water, or the hardy camels will gnaw your bones. https://cromwell-intl.com/travel/morocco/zagora/?s=mc

Just checked my passport is in processing with expedited processing. So in 5-7 weeks it should be ready. It was set to expire in roughly a year and you ALWAYS want to make sure you have a minimum of 6 months on your passport when traveling or some countries will not let you in without a hassle. Passports are good for 10 years, and in my opinion even if not planning for travel soon, ALWAYS HAVE A PASSPORT READY! Can not tell you how many last minute business trips I needed a passport
