Also it took me twentysomething years (and learning japanese) to realize Vibri is actually speaking japanese the whole time and not just saying some "wah-wah-wah" sounds 😄

As you may remember from me talking about it once a week, the three things I most want out of a cell phone are

  1. RECTANGULAR screen with NO HOLES OR ROUNDED EDGES ON THE DISPLAY CANVAS

  2. Big bezel/bevel/whatever it's called so I can hold it without activating the touch screen

  3. Headphone jack

I search and search and even for high prices I usually cannot get these things

But the $35 carrier branded temp replacement phone I bought at the Wal-Mart by the airport?

@mcc Though the bezel is not that big, Sony Xperia phones are pretty close. Don't know if they are sold everywhere though...

@mcc Huh, you are right, I never realized that!

For me the main reasons to go with Xperias was the headphone jack and that I can still use the SD memory card I used since my first Xperia...

All of my friends owned a PS1 but I went for the N64 because I wanted to play Mario Kart 64 and nothing else. 😆
I played many PS1 games on my friend's consoles. That way I experienced the birth of fundamental game series like Tekken, Gran Turismo, Silent Hill, Resident Evil or GTA. :underheart:

Did you also have to make a choice for one of the two consoles? Which one did you pick and why? 🤔

@repeatro I bought the Playstation on day 1, because I wanted to play Wipeout. I later borrowed an N64 from a friend to play Mario 64 and bought my own N64 even later, for Zelda mostly. PS1 was definitely my #1 system of that generation, the N64 never had the same status as the SNES before that. The PS1 had more cool and weird stuff, it just was "the future". N64 was "just" for playing the Nintendo first party games for me.

Hier in wird jede zweite Geschäftsaufgabe mit "wegen der kommt keiner mehr in die Stadt" begründet (was natürlich ziemlicher Quatsch ist).

The graphics and the game play looks super fun and super relaxing and I'm curious how it is from someone actually playing the game.

@cliffwade It's one of the best games of this year for me. It is rather short, but the ideas, the puzzles, the graphics, music and sound are very very good. But beware, there are some challenging parts and settings that might be a bit "off-putting", so I would not consider it to be super relaxing :D If you liked Limbo and Inside, this one is a must play.

Ich suche ein von früher, ich glaube, es war tschechisch? Ein kleines Männchen flog von Planet zu Planet, hatte einen Hund dabei und musste auf den Planeten Rätsel lösen. Sehr niedlich gezeichnet. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? Zeitraum vielleicht 2005-2008?
