Play counts on Apple Music are very slow to update and often don't match across devices.

I'll bet there is some ancient WebObjects-based batch process that runs daily and weekly to add up the plays from different devices.

I think that Apple Replay gets the right totals at the end of each week when it's updated.

Another SVT incident this morning. Started at 07:20. Rate jumped to 146 bpm as I was dozing. A second MVM stopped it at 07:44. Rate dropped to 80 bpm.

@geoffduncan I don’t think anything is the future. Everyone is different and likes to work in different ways. It’s the individuality and creativity each brings to the work that’ll matter.

Same with AI tools in other creative fields. Like LLMs in writing.
