@andrew Could be because he gets hurt just by breathing! Yanks have too many guys who are injury prone, including him, Bader, and (it must be said, despite a healthy 2021 and 2022) Judge. If they re-sign Bader this winter, they will have shown they learned nothing from the Aaron Hicks Experience.

The Yankees acquisition of Giancarlo Stanton hasn't worked out. He's worth about 8.9 WAR since coming over and only 2018 and 2021 were starter-level seasons or better.
Over the same span and even on a per-season basis, Josh Donaldson has been considerably better.
