Can we get a GoFundMe going for this poor guy. Nobody should have to go through what he has gone through. Must be tough to be him.
Some people can’t afford eat, some have health issues, but then you have people with real issues, like Jim being a white billionaire, things he can’t even control. People like Jim need our sympathy, not these cancer patients etc with these small issues compared to his struggles.
From what I heard, most of the fans were actually pretty hospitable. Hopefully these shitbags get banned from campus for a long, long time, if not permanently.
Edit: I’m a Texas fan and alum, so don’t think it’s just Bama fans saying this.
Yeah, pretty much any school, and definitely any older school in a former Confederate state has this element to their fanbase, and not just among the T-Shirt fans. You hope it's small, you hope it's dwindling, and you HAVE to attempt to drown them out, but universities and athletic departments that aren't being proactive about creating an inclusive culture arewhistlingpastthegraveyard.
Glares at Northwestern No kidding. I wonder how long it’ll be before an athletic director’s inaction causes a lawsuit that nukes an athletic program from orbit. Betting it won’t be more than a few years before a school screws up badly enough.
nobody comes back from an achillies at 39, he's done and dusted. guess all that horse dewormer didn't help him out huh. ruinous fucking antivaxxer prick, while a million americans died from covid. fuck that dude forever. the karmic wheel of justice is long, he just found the end of it four plays into his season. perfection.
Maybe the NFL is different from the NHL, but players on LTIR in the NHL don’t count towards the cap. I have to imagine there’s something similar in the NFL.
There is always the Don Muhlbach option. Rodgers retires, it lowers the cap hit to just this year for a prorated amount, they get to re-sign him as a coach/assistant, and they might get a compensatory pick out of it.
As a Cavalier fan, it was real hard watching some of his coaching decisions. There were some playoff game moments, where the opposing team was putting on a clinic, and I found myself yelling at the TV for him to just call a timeout, give our guys a set offensive play to run so they can find their rhythm, and he just never did. Some of his line-ups were similarly mystifying. But overall, he was a good coach for our rebuilding team, that turned them into a fantastic defensive unit. We might have been a bit stale on the offensive end, but with Mitchell and Allen out for those Celtics games, we were never getting out of the second round.
I just hope that we can keep both Mitchell and Allen for next year, because our core group of guys are really special, and barring injuries, we’ll be back in the second round next year, hopefully coming out on top.
Shams is saying that Golden State Warriors assistant coach Kenny Atkinson and New Orleans Pelicans assistant James Borrego have already emerged as prospective candidates.
These NIL deals seem almost as shady as campaign donations. Shell company A will pay the initial 20% and Shell company B will handle the rest. No wait, Shell B is out, this other guy will pay instead.
I’ll wait to see how it goes. I’m worried that they screwed it up with micro transactions or something. If they didn’t screw up, and if it’s reasonably priced, I guess I’ll pick up a PS5 and take Kent St. to the playoffs.
It really depends on who is playing in each. In fact, it might depend on what point of the game it is. If a low ranked CFP team looks like they’ll get demolished, I might watch for a few minutes until it’s confirmed, then switch.
Absolutely. I like the NFL, but it’s a team I have no affiliation with besides I like the team. I went to my college, I had classes with the players, and spent 4 years of my life “in” the organization, and a few more living in the town. It’s not even close for me. If my NFL team is playing, I’ll second screen it and it’ll be on mute for my CFB team.
