Will the storm that just came through here (Rockies), and is now hitting the plains end up in your area?

@the_Effekt Unfortunately no. We aren't supposed to cool down until it passes. It's raining outside now.

My grandmother was commenting to me on Facebook that she agrees that the weather is a little wacky, but she'll gladly take the rain over the snow.

I didn't have the heart to tell her that I would rather take the snow that slowly melts and trickles into the soil and earth rather than heavy rain that generally flows off into the waterways.

That's concerning to hear. You are typically in the same temperature range that we are. (I'm in the San Juans in SW Colorado and it's 10° here). This storm gave us good snow but all leading storms up to this one "from October" have been significantly below average.
