acrousey, Our high today is 52°F/11°C, which is 20-25°F/13-15°C warmer than the mean this time of year. Tonight it's only supposed to drop down to 45°F/7°C, which is 30-40°F/18-22°C warmer than the mean this time of year.
The lakes that had started to freeze over are open once again. Not a flake of snow remains to speak of.
A lot of people up here will be hurting if it doesn't get cold and snow soon.

For funsies, I circled the record low temperature for Hayward, which is -52°F. The record low for the state of Wisconsin is -55°F and that was recorded in the town of Couderay, which is located on the other side of Lac Courtre Oreilles from Hayward.
