Impressed how faithful this is so far, aside from the mood a fair bit.
I think that's necessary, a very respect and understanding of the original. The guns, the stimpack, the vault door movement, impressed they didn't even fight the blue and yellow jump suits
Okay now this does the face-turn for the big bad WAY the fuck better than TLoU2
I don't want to sound GG, I don't fully dislike the game, but. I never forgave Abby. Still wanted to finish her. I know that's not the 'point'. Don't care.
#FalloutTV does a good balance of that thing I hate in comic/game adaptions:
"oh no we can't have the handsome actor covered by a helmet/mask"
They show the inside of the Power Armor very effectively and the past bits for the Ghoul, very very good balance between the two.
I'm sure it's at least partially actors insisting their real face be on there too of course. We still don't fully respect Voice Actors as Actors (which they are)
@SirTapTap I never had much to forgive Abby for. She was never that bad to me. She killed the bastard who killed her dad and many others. I was more mad at Ellie going back after Abby (and mad at Tommy for getting in her head) when Abby (with influence from Lev) let them live.
@SirTapTap is why i haven't bothered watching the TV show cos I really got tired of people trying to make excuses for jerkass Joel whom I hated ever since the ending of the first game. Can't stand the guy but especially despise all the straight, homophobic, transphobic creeps who idolise him (evenmoreso the weirdos who think Joel and Ellie should be a couple... what the fuck?)
@Carnivius Not Joel's fault shitty people like him. Aside from...a certain thing in the ending, he's very easy to like in the first game and DLC. Not a perfect great guy but that's supposed to be a recurring them of the whole post apocalyptic thng
Not really just about Joel either, she very explicitly does the same revenge thing we're supposed to be mad at Ellie for, and the very forced "like abby NOW" second half of the game rubbed me very wrong
