Random #tip for using the #Fediverse: not everyone is going to like you, or agree with you when you post something--just like in real life (or on other social networks)--stop expecting everyone to be exactly like you. That is what mute, block, filter is for. Also, if you're very sensitive to that, post "followers only" and NOT public, and block/remove people that annoy you. (this is not aimed at any one person or thing, just an observation of various gripes going around).
@brian@ai6yr And yet these people want to share with you how their brilliant idea is and clearly the only idea that either (a) makes sense of (b) is ethical - so if you don’t agree with what they say you must be an unethical idiot. Seems like a lot of them that respond to me have names like “Brilliant Thinker” or “Keeper of the Truth” vs. a real name or ham radio call sign. And then we have the condescending ones…. sorry I have too many gray hairs for that BS.
@ai6yr no kidding! Somebody who’s not even a follower of mine commented on one of my posts that the information was too esoteric if I didn’t have a lot of followers. First of all, I don’t give a crap about how many followers I have and second of all move along pal! LOL
