@KentuckyConjurer Have partner and he doesn’t know I’m a witch, but knows I’m spiritual. I’m not sure if he’d be supportive. I have three daughters and all three know. They are mostly supportive, but dont necessarily believe in it. I had decided long ago that my girls were going to be able to decide on religion on their own and not be forced into one like I was.
@KentuckyConjurer If I get into a relationship, it is not necessary that we share the same faith but that they respect my choices about my personal faith. I dated someone and when he found out that I would not get married in a Christian church we broke up, not because he was Christian himself, but because he was embarrassed for his family to find out that I was not.
I ended up getting married in a church because my hub's mom insisted and I've regretted it ever since. I should have put my foot down immediately, but I had zero parents in my life and wanted to please her.
I think I would also have to respect their personal faith on some level. Like I would have a hard time being with someone whose faith told them to be bigoted, or anti-human rights, etc.
