@notjustbikes maybe you can start every post with 280 empty characters and put the content next, there might be a way to make it invisible here but with the character limit on twitter it will end up with empty posts
@notjustbikes While I totally I agree I am a bit surprised HOW that bot works. I wrote a bot for my posts for the first weeks when switching to Mastodon but after the Twitter-API change a bot became a really expensive hobby and I stopped it.

Send Twitter an invoice. An invoice usually is processed by accounting first.
Livense fee could be derived from DJV (German Free Journalists association) standards i.e. around 200€ per post (130-300€ minus 20% as of 2013). Apply the 3x penalty factor as is usual in the USA. So 750€ per posting.
The license fee is valid for 12 months and has to be renegotiated before expiry, otherwise the penalty applies again.

Post with an easily searchable but fake hashtag, like #notjustbikesrepostingbot … then you should be able to search for it on Twitter and do a takedown.
@mori Crossposting was a thing on Mastodon since the early days, but unsolicited crossposting so far has only been from Xitter to Mastodon (which is also annoying to a lot of Mastodon users!), not the other way around, so this is indeed an interesting thing to happen now.
