Please don't include me, George, in that collective "we've". I'm afraid the people that shoot their own or other's children because they can't live without their guns have always been around in the US. I don't think that there are more of them now - they're just more likely to be public about their addiction.
I am certainly no more likely to bring out handguns at a party now than I ever have been. "We" have not changed. We have always been a nation of guns. We need to get over it
He continued with the wedding while I assume an ambulance was taking his grandson to the hospital.
One of the first things my strong on gun safety dad taught us was the fact guns are not toys.
The fact he went ahead with the wedding after shooting his grandson is beyond imagination and despicable.
@georgetakei No shooting is accidental, if someone chooses to carry a loaded weapon there’s intent to shoot it.
And blanks can kill as well as a bullet, look up Brandon Lee, or Jon-Erik Hexum
@georgetakei Actually, I find this to be typical yahoo behavior. This kind of idiocy has been happening in Texas and the Deep South since yahoos first stepped forth into America.
