Working on my column, which I decided to do on geomorphs ... because it turns out there are A LOT of geomorphs out there.

@SJohnRoss That's why I like the DungeonMorph dice. Because ... they're dice. And the dice must roll...

What's a geomorph? They're like mini-maps that you can combine in different ways to build large maps. The first ones (that I know about) came out for D&D back in 1976. This is the reprint (circa 1980): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_Geomorphs

Personally, my favorite geomorphs are Inkwell Ideas' DungeonMorphs, which are available in dice and card form (I have the dice; they're great) https://dungeonmorphs.com/

I didn't know that Goodman Games did a collection of geomorphs as part of their module series:

These Traveller starship geomorphs are what sent me down the geomorph rabbit hole earlier this week

(heh, we totally need geomorphs for a rabbit warren! After all, Bunnies and Burrows IS a thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunnies_%26_Burrows)

Oh, and it looks like there's also The Warren, which is another rabbit-themed RPG:

Wait ... there are ALIEN RPG geomorphs! Oh hell yeah: https://www.alienmobius.com/geomorphs

Ah, ok, so they're colorized versions of the Traveller Geomorphs. Still, very cool and very evocative of the 1979 ALIEN computer graphics.

Ok. I've delved as deeply as I'm gonna get tonight. The column's done; it's time to sleep. Or, you know, pretend to sleep...
