According to medieval Welsh folklore, originally Britain was called "Albion" and inhabited only by giants. Brutus the Trojan, descendant of Aeneas, conquered the giants. The island was renamed "Britain" in his honor; his people were the ancestors of the British Celts. #FolkloreSunday
