wai, 4 months ago @mikemai2awesome Indeed the goal of aria-braillelabel is to have as short a label as feasible for someone using a braille device -- because braille devices have limited character output. We've had some more discussion about this. It would be helpful if you would open a GitHub issue about it via https://github.com/w3c/aria/issues/new/choose (or if you're not comfortable with GitHub, send e-mail to: public-aria@w3.org ) Then we can better track your question and the discussions publicly. 🙂
