I named a plant in the hallway Ursula. I told everyone in the house to say hello to her when they walk by. I'm in bed and I just heard my son's door open and him say "Hello, Ursula." 🤣

My mother's life force was her fluid and complementary belief in Shintoism, Buddhism, and a loving Christianity, in the animating force in all things in the natural world. I grew up thanking stepping stones for carry the weight of my steps, saying hello to the wind, the singing birds, and being gentle as I climbed the limbs of trees. You see yourself as part of a whole, the whole as part of you, and thus always embracing and always being embraced by the world. Say hello to Ursula for me.
@StillIRise1963 When my son and his partner were visiting at Thanksgiving, she came to ask what should be done about the cricket in the shower. ‘I know there are some insects you don’t kill; is this one of them?’ 🥰 and I had chased the cricket before they arrived 🦗 so this time he was exiled to the garage
@kv She's coming back to her former glory slowly. She was in a room with limited sunlight and lost a lot of her leaves. By the end of summer, she's going to be great.🌿
@geonz I asked my husband to take care of this plant and he almost killed it. So, I'm rehabbing her. She's in a big window and she needs conversation.😃
