@aral If any one Mastodon instance starts shadowbanning, the counter is to migrate to another instance. Same remedy as if you find yourself on an instance cravenly complying with US state age verification laws.
I really need to write something about why having mega instances on the fediverse is a problem that’s longer than a toot.
Probably a good time for a post on the subject given I now have about the same number of people following me here as I did when I closed my Twitter account.
@aral FWIW, I can see your toots and profile normally, although I've been following you for a while. Would it be obvious to me if you were shadow banned?
Thinking about it, there was a profile I couldn't see a few hours ago, but that looked like a temporary glitch as it had resolved when I looked again half an hour later.
