@polarity art/culture grants, where possible, seems pretty good when they're available. live performances (+/- merch sales, if it makes sense), film/tv/videogame licensed works, all probably adds up to a lot more than anything streaming provides ._>
@caitp but this also usually leads to more and other work. you don’t pull merch or a live act out of thin air. Cross financing sure is always an option.
