@zachleat I’m surprised to see that no one mentioned the WordPress community yet. That’s a shame, because it is not only huge, obviously, but also very welcoming and diverse. Pinging @remkus for a confirmation.
@paul@zachleat absolutely, yes! What kind of web development communities are you looking for Zach? I'm asking because our community is so big that we have many groups focusing on particular tools and such!

Edit: I realize you said "web dev" newhaven.io is actually all kinds of dev.
I used to read Medium a lot, and I still occasionally enjoy dev.to, but the noise-signal ratio doesn't feel optimal on those platforms.
If anything it's brought me back to the "small web". I'm using RSS much more, as well as Kagi's "small web" project when I'm searching.
