It's been a few days and I find my brain is still trying to find the right words that capture the experience of the #TotalEclipse.
There aren't many things in our world anymore that are quite so poorly captured by our "content creation" methods. Video, pics, posts – all are inadequate to the task.
Words & testimonials, when you find eloquent ones, seem more successful than the imagery.
I'd also say that among the thousands of photographs, the pics of the environment/landscape, and spectators are more evocative than yet another full-frame pic of a black circle with a fiery ring around it.
I agree. I took a video during totality that captured our reactions. It's not a good representation in that it's a slightly dim video that includes a sun blob once or twice. It's a good representation in that it's a video of people being amazed over and over a conditions change.
