@bud_t Ah, I went to college when "no socks in loafers" was in fashion, I suspect the smell of stinky feed overwhelmed our smell receptors until we were unable to discern the stinkiness. It's a wonder any of our generation managed to find mates and produce offspring, IMHO.
@ai6yr I've certainly seen folks do this, but not while wearing a tailored, fancy suit. Interesting. And TBH it was extra gross seeing it in a restaurant.

@ai6yr@bud_t To me, loafers without socks goes with khaki pans, Izod shirts, stupidly expensive sunglasses and plenty of cocaine. It was a super popular look with bro dudes from rich families who knew they were never going to do any real work their entire lives.
