Interesting. I like the commons approach to thinking about this. In general, it would be nice if we took a more communal approach to things like housing and work.

Unfortunately, those systems tend not to work at scale (the exception seeming to be digital commons like the fediverse and Wikipedia).

It'll be hard to imagine this working for this situation in India and global climate mini-migrations more generally, at least from what I've seen.
