@fkamiah17 so Lloyd Evans, a Spectator writer, fixates on a lecturer, and then goes to a brothel for relief, not because he is a thinking human male, but because he is a raging misogynist and bigot who blames his 'libido' for the fact he is still 12 and giggling over page 3 of the sun.
@Thebratdragon I don't know if it's even a brothel tbh. Sounds like just a run-of-the-mill massage parlour that he's dragged into his gutter of a mind like the superannuated horny teenager that he is.
I hope to god that poor woman doesn't have to read what he's written about her.
@fkamiah17 if he gets a happy ending, as it were, the police class it as a brothel. (more than one person on the premises, concierge is the pimp in that scenario).
@Thebratdragon I didn't read the rest of the article so I'm not sure how fictionalised his "experience" was. Whatever the case may be, a sex worker shouldn't be characterised in that way by a journalist of any stripe.
@fkamiah17 Huh? This looks like an extremely bad piece of Nadine-Dorries-style "literature". Is it supposedly masquerading as a serious article? If so, how on Earth did it get past the editor? (Checks first image - Oh, it's "The Spectator" - explains everything...)
@Henrysbridge It doesn't really explain anything that it's the Spectator, which is supposed to be a current affairs/politics magazine, not an issue of Razzle from 1983.
