    Might be worth having your thyroid checked out. I didn't realize until I had to go on levothyroxine that my thyroid was the cause of my mood swings/panic attacks. Talked with others who told me they had the same issue.

    My primary care doc noticed that my thyroid was slightly enlarged because she has amazing sense of touch and ordered thyroid blood tests run and a thyroid ultrasound. Not sure another doc would have found it during a normal exam.
