Volume keys on my Redmi Note 7 just went dead.

What should I do?

Keep that Note 7 going! Failing that, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is good with UBports and Droidian, but they still require you to wait a week to unlock the bootloader on it.

@ozzelot As expected with most Xiaomi devices.

My first Xiaomi phone was a Redmi 4X, it was a very good phone.

@danct12 depends on how much you are using the keys. I've found phones with just one remaining volume key working very well (tap key, adjust on screen slider) and with both volume keys broken a lottle annoying but still feasible for everyday usage (search for the option in the status menu, adjust volume from there). But YMMV

If that doesn't work for you: repair!

@dwagenk Both volume keys are dead on mine. At first it was the keys losing its tactile feedback, then a few hours later they are all dead.
