@ielenia well, instant coffee comes in a few forms, perhaps the most common are powder or granules that dissolve into a liquid (in my case, milk, but you can use water). you'd normally use 1 or 2 teaspoons of this, but I tried to put in 4 (because I like strong coffee) and ended up with more like 6. fortunately it's decaf so not really bad for me.
I haven't even watched many of his videos and somehow the section of thumbnail and description voice was enough to tell me. (I also really like his videos)
@ielenia@ChloeCat water dispenser? looks them up- you have those in a house? I thought only offices and public buildings had those lol
also I think it's quite rare for a sink in the uk to produce boiling water, generally they just tap from some hot water tank which you do not want to be getting drinking water from
@NotThatDeep@ChloeCat typical house hot water is somewhere around 130-140°F, which is usually hot enough for anything that needs hot but not boiling water
I think most people would just microwave their water if they needed hot water fast though
@ChloeCat@ielenia@NotThatDeep It's also a lot different than the microwaves I had growing up. The one I used to have was a beast. It had the old school turn dial nobs and I think it could straight up cook a decently sized turkey :neocat_laugh_sweat:
@ChloeCat@ielenia@NotThatDeep Okay, I couldn't find the exact one I grew up with but this is VERY similar. Even had the wood trim on it. Yeah, let's just good by temp indefinitely with a single switch. That's probably safe :neocat_googly:
