In the old days I'd assume it was a technical problem causing Reddit in the browser to get unreliable and slow, but these days I assume they're deliberately fucking it up to force people to use their app.
@thomasbeagle I know it's not the same, but I use various instances of Libreddit. While you can't interact in the same way as you can with Reddit itself, you get 80% of the experience. For me these days, that's enough.
