That’s literally the same as an enrage phase. What difference is there compared to a health area that’s twice the size?

In Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, one of the secret bosses, Vanitas Remnant, only has one health bar, but if you cast a Cure spell, he'll heal to full HP. Of course, you could avoid this with Potions, using one of the Group Cure commands meant for multiplayer, or attacking from behind a rock that he doesn't know how to go around.
