Let us not forget that "pro-life" Kristi Noem also believes in forcing 10-year-old rape victims who become pregnant to have the baby (https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/03/politics/kristi-noem-south-dakota-abortion-trigger-ban/index.html). She says, "I don’t believe a tragic situation should be perpetuated by another tragedy." Apparently killing one-year-old puppies is fine, though.
