@swiftcoder the video cable world is rife with opaque but important details, and I haven't yet figured it out. I personally have a bunch of HDMI devices, having consciously leaned that way more or less at random years ago. The recen HDMI patent news has me thinking I ought to start switching over to display port as I replace things.
