@shanselman between Qualtrics being terrible with screen readers and ReCaptcha, the response rate for blind and visually impaired professionals is likely to be disproportionally low. This may affect the results in such a way as to not create better learning opportunities for BVI students.
If there’s anything you can do to move this to another platform, that could have a really positive impact for disabled kids.
I’m still boosting it, just because I know the people around me are as stubborn as I am.
Long story short: soft skills good, overly technical concepts unnecessary in software development.
E.G. Yes, I grew up having to know how a computer works fundamentally in order to program it. I do not think that that knowledge is in any way required today for a lot of very respectable software jobs.
