@jeffjarvis It's not going to change much, Israel is not that much dependent on US providing weapons.

The US is just pressuring Israel to be careful in Rafah, and the left is very divided on this war, so Biden need to posture to not lose too many supporters in the left.

Also, it allows to fool Israel's enemies to believe it doesn't have the support from Israel, whereas the US still defends Israel against Iran, the houthis, hezbollah, etc.
