i'm finding myself getting strangely angry whenever i get called 'sir' these days. one, it's very rare and comes off as disingenuous, but i can't put my finger on what the other reason is.

@Dinoracha Personally the word 'sir' feels stiff...Harsh even at times despite it being an honorific. I feel my hackles rise every time I hear the word.

@WanderingInDigitalWorlds i'm lowkey wondering if my 'identity dysphoria' is worsening as well. whenever i'm spoken to/treated a certain way because i'm a man, it also boils my bones.

@Dinoracha I wonder as well, this could be the root cause. Looking inward and actively considering the feelings in each situation which would provoke a reaction...Might yield a qualitative answer.
