Tulip, the ant says hi!

Today she's guarding the nest entrance with a few majors much bigger than her. It was very funny since they kept pushing her out of the way. They all like to sit in the tube entrance and just ... wait.

(I thought she made a great guard, but they made her leave)

Someone is slacking off on grave yard duty there are two legs just laying there. Get it together, ants.

Aw jeez Tulip has started this futile “digging project” in the corner and roped a bunch of minors in to help. Sometimes it’s like she knows there is a “world beyond” and can’t help looking for a way back— like a child who once saw Narnia who, as an adult, keeps climbing into cabinets … just in case.

The other ants have given up but she's still digging.

@futurebird for most of my childhood, stories about someone who finds their way to another universe, and then must deal with both good and bad consequences, were my favorite kind of fiction.

@futurebird the other ant: "who are you talking to??"

@llewelly

She's probably like a person who was abducted by aliens and her sisters are just not buying her stories about "other worlds outside of the sky" and "a place with infinite sugar" or "giant monsters that paint dots on you while you are sleeping"

@futurebird seems like she shares some experiences with the guy in this engraving:

@Landa @llewelly

I think that's exactly what she's dealing with. There is a a whole other place... it was dangerous and huge... but how to get there again?

@futurebird @llewelly how would ants feel about billions of galaxies?

llewelly,
@llewelly@sauropods.win avatar

@gay_ornithischians @futurebird
they would believe every galaxy had billions of stars, and every star was surrounded by planets, and every planet was full of ants.

more room for the colony!
