Whenever my siblings or I succeeded in exams, she would prepare halwa, a delightful Indian pudding crafted from semolina, ghee, sugar, cashews, and raisins. Recalling her culinary prowess, I reminisce about how she would often cook extra for lunch, ensuring leftovers were either enjoyed by us or fed to the cow in the evening.
