You can't put technology back in the bottle. You can try to suppress it. You can try to legislate it. You can campaign against it. You can do everything possible to stop it, but at the most, you will only delay the inevitable.

Once the genie is out. The genie is out. Either adapt to it, or get left behind.

@oz Airship still exist today. Better technology made them impractical. Direct current power grids exist in small areas that don’t rely on the need for long distance transfer of power. Amphibious cars exist, but aren’t practical at their cost.

And a plastic bike isn’t a new technology. It’s taking a current technology and trying to slap a bad idea onto it.
