@CP93 what’s wilder is that people tout police body cams as an accountability measure, when actually they are more often used for gathering evidence which helps to incarcerate people, than they are used for even the mildest disciplinary measures against cops :(

Yeah, the biggest problem is selective use. Perhaps the footage should be sent to a central server, maintained by another organization. Both the police and the public should have equal rights to request footage.
But yeah, that will never happen.
@rticks@CP93 Not surprisingly, the folks who not just believe cops but also defend & try to justify systematic racism by cops - post things like: Racism goes both ways & Blue lives matter.
