is there anything wrong with subsidized housing? and from where the subsidizing comes from? e.g. parents buying you a house vs government assistance schemes for house ownership
@cell my city: everyone wants in on the government assisted housing, so you can only get it either as a student or someone who signed themselves to the queue 2 decades ago
@eal@cell a friend of mine in hamburg was so happy that he got the certificate for subsidized housing, although i don't understand how he got it, he has a middle manager type position.
@lain@eal salary caps for the marry and reproduce scheme per household here iirc are about S$14k per household, which means that each member can earn up to S$7k (which is a fair bit more than median) to be eligible; and of course you're not allowed to have any other property (overseas included) beforehand :pensiverat:
