I've been using a MS Sculpt for the past ~9years as main keyboard, and I fear when it dies I won't find a good replacement. tried others over the years and always come back, it's great. Should probably find a store that has stock for a spare while I still can, just in case.
@djlink I was looking for one recently, but there's a major flaw that completely put me off. It only pairs with the USB dongle it comes with. So much ewaste on eBay. Fully working keyboards with missing dongles sold as "parts only"...
@jahed yeah that's a problem, however I've ran into keyboards that had firmware BR issues etc, disconnecting, and this just works, and I think because there's a dedicated device for it. so in a way it's reliable.
@djlink I'm using the Logitech K860 ergonomic keyboard and I'm really happy with it.
It doesn't have mechanical keys, but I feel very comfortable with the flat keys. The fact that I don't need to press much to register a hit is a plus point for me. 🙂
@djlink I have used the same set for a similar amount of time. But my sculpt ergonomic mouse just died and I couldn't find a new one. I switched to Logitech's MX Ergo which works well for me as a replacement. But now I need two dongles. I wonder if Logitech's K860 is a nice replacement for the keyboard. But I don't think it uses the same dongle yet. Might need to wait for a refresh.
