I know it doesn’t lessen the loss, but for anyone who doesn’t already know, there is a PBS channel on YouTube devoted entirely to classic Julia Child episodes, including the original 1960s series The French Chef:

mPony,

Those jerks. This show had such heart, characters you could personally invest in, gentle pacing, a real throwback to classic TV. Why do they keep doing this?

jopepa,

When Mr Rogers had his Nick Fury moment in season 1 I was really hoping for a PBSCU

This sucks! I like the show a lot.

partial_accumen,

I’m sorry to hear this. For those just now learning about the series, you can watch both seasons WITHOUT worry of a cliffhanger. They were able to end the show with a great final episode of Season 2 wrapping up all the story lines. The final episode of the second season felt like a finale to the series.

some_guy,

Running the best brand in premium television right into the ground.

cayleaf,

Oof. My wife and I really liked this show.

aodhsishaj,

Ouf as one might say

cayleaf,

Hahah. Bravo.
