@jotbe @pluralistic oh cool, I don’t think I’d heard any reviews about how it actually was to deal with breakage. Both of the aluminum-body laptops in my house are deformed or bent by modest falls…

My Framework (13th gen Intel) was yanked off the table by a friends dog hitting the power cable. She was horrified, but I was laughing before it hit the floor, safe in the knowledge that ALL parts are available, even if they are needed (not a mark, not even the USB-C port the cable was in was damaged).

The only niggle with Fedora Linux was having to install Windows on a spare SSD to activate the fingerprint sensor, which has since worked fine in Fedora.
