@r_em_y@geerlingguy the only exception of 10" never being used is in AV gear, as those started with huge 19" mountable tube amps and nowadays still use that instead.
Personally, I do like 10" and 19" and a lot of "smol" desktops like the #ThinkCentre Tiny / #ThinkStation Tiny and #ProDesk Mini / #EliteDesk Mini fit neatly alone in 10" and 19" together...

The issue is that you have to be super-careful with the host machine. If you mess something there, you can bring down the entire hosted infra.
I've been building my own network using #Dell#Wyse and #Lenovo#ThinkCentre#ThinClient s.
They come in variety of configuration, from weak AMD or Celerons to beefy Core i8, do not take much place and power. Passive cooling makes them silent. After-market after-lease machines are very cheap.

Time to install #Proxmox on the little #ThinkCentre 🙂
I think 3 - 4 vm's should be possible for sure.
(The workload in my #homelab is not high at all)
