There's a livestream of early Cartoon Network/Adult Swim show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiheRTcwkc4 for its 30th Anniversary. Not sure how long it will run, and it's definitely not showing the full series--just a loop of best hits.
This bizarre, esoteric comedy series set the tone for the Adult Swim original programming, and influenced many comedy writers after its airing. Even rewatching today, I'm blown away at how much absurdity is packed into these 15 minute no-budget episodes. It's been fun seeing the reaction from younger folks who never saw the original run in the chat, too. If you give it a watch, I hope you enjoy it :blobcathappy: #spaceghost#adultswim
#AdultSwim Games-published titles will be delisted soon across digital storefronts, Warner Bros. Discovery not giving ownership back to the developers:
WB media doing some bs again. At this point, I wonder if this would be enough for an animators union or writers union, hell even the actors union, to sue its CEO for defrauding shareholders. Y'know, since only shareholders matter in this late-stage capitalist dystopia
Here's Jay Gonzalez, of the Driveby Truckers singing "Helen Magellan" that he wrote with Pete Smith Day at Cartoon Network. It's the most hilarious "history" song that you're gonna hear today. I guarantee it! :blobcatjustright:
Rick and Morty‘s Season 7 is set to wrap on Dec. 17, and ahead of its finale, showrunner and executive producer Scott Marder is teasing what’s ahead for the Adult Swim animated series....
Finally got around to watching the Venture Bros. Movie: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart.
It's a good send-off, and I'm glad the series got its finale. I really enjoyed it, and was nice to get some closure on the series. But I'm also disappointed. This movie feels like it wanted to be much more (which to be fair, it was based on the scripts for a final season), it rushes the plot in a way that a season wouldn't. I'm glad we got something instead of nothing. It just makes me disappointed in Adult Swim that we didn't get a final season instead.
Go watch it if you are a fan of the Venture Bros. It's good.
