Last weekend, I got to try the shaaken beef with Tattooine bounty, which includes peppers, onions and crispy kale, from #DockingBay7 , a dish that debuted on May 4 this year. I think this is a terrific vegetarian offering, and I would absolutely order it, especially with the abundance of kale. The question would be how to go about doing that, and if it's available, why isn't it included on the menus in the app?

I don't know which part is supposed to be the "Tattooine bounty" though. Surely not any of the vegetable matter, from a desert planet, so maybe the gnocchi? #DockingBay7 #BlackSpireOutpost #GalaxysEdge #Batuu #Disneyland #SeasonOfTheForce /5 end

(about 10 mins video - first of two videos) I was fortunate on Sunday to see two of the on a training walk. They got to interact with some other droids, and showed us how they've been taught to react to royalty. Unfortunately, one of the droids ran out of charge before the end of the training and had to be helped off. (You know how when kittens are sleepy, they just stop and plop wherever they are and take a nap? Droids are apparently the same.)

(about 7 minutes video - second of two videos) On Sunday, as I was watching two of the on a training walk, one had to take a spontaneous nap. The remaining droid, among other things, got a little refresher on how to do a jump. So cute!

And, for the record, none of these droids are Wall-E.

A friend noticed this new drum accessory set for R series droids. The description on the back says it includes an exclusive personality chip. Hope that doesn't mean it gives the droid the propensity to spontaneously combust.

Been a while since we've done 7am to 11pm in the parks, but May the 4th on a Saturday would be a good day to do it. Spent a lot of time with friends, sometimes just chatting and laughing. Spending hours on - time very well spent.

I think I got a preview of the new fireworks tonight, but from . I was wondering why there were professional folks on Main Street ready to record the castle and the side of the Emporium. So I wonder if the music I heard tonight is what goes with the show rather than ?

Our friend with the magic touch got us onto the standby line and into yesterday, and we were able to try the new-to-us drinks. On the left is the Chandrilan chalice with silver sea martini, and on the right is the Chandrilan orb glass with fiery Mustafarian, which was mine. 1/2

I liked the fiery Mustafarian when I tasted it by itself, but I liked it much better with the vial / cylinder of spicy lava syrup that came with it. And we got to keep the vial too. It has some kind of Aurebesh writing on it, but I haven't had a close enough look to see what it says yet. I'll take a gallon of the spicy lava syrup, please. 2/2

(long video) Last night, we watched the fireworks show from to check out the version of the show, with a galactic score whereas there used to just be ambient sounds to accompany the fireworks. They did a decent job trying to match music to a pre-existing show that has a completely different subject matter, but there are definitely awkward and dead moments, 1/3

partly because you can't see the fireworks coming off the castle facing that direction, and there are no projections to occupy your attention.

It's not somewhere I'd go to "watch fireworks" per se, but I'd be happy just being in listening to music. 2/3

With the dialogue announcement, you're also a bit more prepared when the first fireworks go off, which has less of a chance of just scaring people and surprising them with no preamble.
