Shining a specific frequency of #RedLight on a person’s back for 15 mins can reduce #BloodSugar levels, according to a #NewStudy from City, University of London & UCL.
Researchers found that 670 nanometres of red light stimulated energy production within #mitochondria - tiny powerhouses within cells, leading to increased consumption of glucose. It led to a 27.7% reduction in #BloodGlucose levels following #glucose intake, and it reduced maximum glucose spiking by 7.5%.
