I finally started playing Dwarf Fortress last night and l already found some cool things, like getting the visit of this guy "Nisam Ngersoslotash, Plump Helmet Man Pikeman".
He was "deeply impressed by my tables. The memory of how my tables are ordered is deeply rooted in his memory". So now he's just sticking around in the Dining Room, like forever?
@angelus_04 #DwarfFortress looks amazing. So many times I've got it, started a new world with the intention of this being the time I will get into it and then thinking "this is complex and looks hard to learn". I'll try again next month.
I do not recall an open letter with thousands of prominent signatories, a hastily-assembled White House Task Force and a big Senate hearing for automated driving systems.
You know... #SafetyCritical systems that are masquerading as #AI that have killed people and have the capacity to readily cause immediate injury and death.
We have an unregulated Wild West out there on that.
@adamjcook But Microsoft spent hundreds of millions of dollars to make a text generator that's worse than #DwarfFortress from 2006, so clearly that's more important than people dying in car crashes.
10% might not seem like much, but trust me, after 20 years of development, sweat and tears, it's really worth even the full price. I bought it 10 minutes after the Steam version released and have no regrets 💗

Sometimes dwarves are skilled biters, in combat. Today, a dwarf named Sibrek decided to not only bite, but thrash his opponent, in the heat of battle! Thank you, @BlindiRL for going through the combat log to find which dwarf it was!
