Got my Chipolo ONE Point! First impressions: yep, it’s a little Bluetooth item tracker. 😁
Interestingly, it has a button just like the standard Chipolo ONE, but it doesn’t do anything after the initial pairing. No ring-your-phone feature or anything… I wonder if that’s something Google will add to the Find My Device network/spec later? Not a big deal, I almost exclusively trigger that accidentally on my Tiles. 😅

Je n'arrive pas à terminer l'installation de cette app. À l'étape d'autorisation du GPS le bouton autorisation ouvre une page web en anglais avec un process qui suppose d'accéder au système et coder des instructions, j'en suis incapable. Quelqu'un sait quoi faire? merci!!
@cliffwade I ordered a 4 pack of clips way back when they announced them, hopefully this means strong demand for the Google equivalent to the airtag. I'm looking forward to using them!
Trying to decide if I want to go with a Pebbleee¹ or Chipolo² tracker if I want a tracker that works with Android’s imminent Find My Device network… they look pretty comparable, with one major difference:
Pebblebee is rechargable with a USB-C cable, Chipolo has a replacable CR2032 battery. 🤔
@cassidy I ordered the Peblebee back when it was announced, simply due too the rechargable nature and longer battery life if I recall correctly. I also ordered an Ace Card: https://www.acecards.co/ which looked promising.
I'm ready to finally hopefully get them after waiting a year...

Lost my Samsung S21 Ultra Phone between the restroom & gate.
I panicked, but thought to use Google Find My Device via my laptop on free wifi. It worked!
Map showed the location of Goose Island Pub, opposite the restroom. Rang my phone & heard it in the Janitor's cart!!
Waited 10 minutes for the Janitor, then took my phone back.
Settled my nerves with 2 pints of #IPA at #GooseIsland #OHareAirport#Google#FindMyDevice
Es sollte doch eigentlich mal, als #Apple#AirTag Pendant für #Android so Tracker kommen für das #FindmyDevice Netzwerk.
Gibt es da inzwischen eigentlich schon Teile zu kaufen?
