Dear , thank you for the reach that you give. This sweet recognition of meme culture, boosted with some basic federation capabilities - it's something that I want to recognize over . It's not "Microblogs" tab, but the HOT front page of Lemmy communities.

In all fairness, Lemmy's doing good there, despite being limited in post federation and assimilation with . Not all people are here on Mastodon/Akkoma to list memes and other jazz, because of how generic the chronological feed may be on this end. In fact, I could make a separate account just for that, even though it would probably confuse my followers.

Update on my adventure:

I didn't feel disappointed with its capabilities. I moved away from instance to , maintained by Sir @stux. So far, so nice. Tip: cross-post a lot and find more communities via (a.k.a. Lemmy Explorer)!

Last fall when I installed Mastodon I did so with
'yarn set version stable' but Mastodon calls for classic.

Recently had conflict errors running RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails assets:precompile.

My current yarn version is 3.3.0.

Will I have any issues with my existing instance if I run

corepack enable
yarn set version classic

now? Also, I run that under root user not Mastodon user, correct.

My VPS is only used for Mastodon. Advice welcomed. Thanks.
